| Report: Beyonce, Jay-Z tie the knot
Los Angeles/New York - Singer Beyonce Knowles, 26, and her long-time boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, 38, have exchanged wedding vows, the US magazine People reported Saturday. They held a wedding and party Friday night in New York City with a small circle of family and friends, people who know the couple told the magazine. Publicists for neither of the performers would give an immediate confirmation of the report. The celebrity news website E!online reported that Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, former bandmates of Knowles in the R&B girl group Destiny's Child, were in attendance for the wedding at Jay-Z's apartment in the trendy TriBeCa neighbourhood of Manhattan. .

Hall, "the love of my life."Hall, a 38-year worker, died on their 29th wedding anniversary Jan. 30, days after his 57th birthday. Hall, an electrical maintenance worker and member of United Steelworker's Local 1011, was injured Nov. 20 as he was fixing a cobbled roller at ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor West's 84-inch hot strip mill in East Chicago.The rollers were carrying heavy steel tubes that stacked up behind one another when the roller malfunctioned. When Hall released it, the pipes moved forward with such force they tore apart the machinery on the roller assembly and sent it flying on top of Hall, according to reports.The impact broke Hall's leg and shoulder and knocked him to the mill floor with a section of machinery on his stomach, Clara said, while sitting in her modest home in the Robertsdale area of Hammond, where she's surrounded by family photos, her four cats and her memories.After a crane removed the object, Hall was taken by company ambulance to an area hospital where he was treated for his broken bones.
Lottery win timely ahead of wedding
A STAND-UP comic and his wife-to-be have been given a timely boost weeks before their wedding in the shape of a £25,000 Postcode Lottery win. Stefan Peddie, 35, and his American fiancee Becky Johnson, also 35, are to tie the knot at Newcastle's Civic Centre next month. And the couple spoke yesterday of their delight as they can now cover the costs of their wedding and have money to spare to renovate their home and treat their two children. Former wrestler Mr Peddie said: "I couldn't believe it when I heard, and I still can't get my head around it. "It will allow us to pay for the wedding and pay off our debts. We also want to do a little bit of home decorating. "The reason I entered it is that it helps out a lot of local charities – we never expected to win." Mr Peddie and Miss Johnson, originally from Chicago, met while working on a summer camp in America some 17 years ago but when Stefan returned to the UK, they lost touch.
